Analysys Mason is a global strategy consultancy and research firm specialising in telecoms, media and technology (TMT).

Since 1985, we have worked with the main players in the TMT market, becoming an influential and recognised entity in the industry. Our work has an impact not only on our clients’ strategies, but also on local governments and regulators who we advise on key industry developments.

Analysys Mason’s presence in the Swedish market was expanded by the acquisition of AB Stelacon, a respected consulting company with more than 30 years of experience, in March 2019.

The team in Sweden has a diverse background and experience and includes engineers, economists, statisticians, and social and political scientists that bring experience from prior roles within agencies, the business sector and the research community.

Whilst maintaining our leading position in Swedish & Nordic markets, we are planning for continued growth and expansion over the coming years, in terms turnover, market reach and number of staff. 

What we do

We give strategic advice and produce quality analysis for mobile and fixed operators, internet players, regulators, financial institutions, cable or satellite companies, content and media players, government, lawyers, postal industry stakeholders, satellite companies and vendors.

From advising the boards of leading mobile operators on their strategy to working with national and local governments, Analysys Mason is recognised as an influential partner for clients around the globe on all aspects of strategy planning, regulation work and transactional support.

Your new role

In Stockholm, you will be part of an entrepreneurial setting, in a growing team offering the opportunity to make an impact in developing the future growth.

You will also be part of a global network of strategy Consultants, giving you the possibility to work on projects internationally as our teams work in partnership across the world

You will primarily be responsible for the management and delivery of projects. However, you will also make a significant contribution to business development activities.

You will also play a significant role in the career development and mentoring of project teams, as well as line-management of team members.

The nature of our projects is extremely varied, and includes strategy design, due diligence analysis and regulatory work. 

Your activities

• Managing and delivering projects across the Telecommunication, Media & Technology industries
• Managing a diverse range of project types across a range of different geographies
• Controlling and optimising resources and costs in the delivery of projects
• Identifying and resolving key issues in complex client projects, as well as developing frameworks for project solving
• Helping to develop intellectual capital around expert topic areas to support project delivery and sales.
• Building attributable client relationships based on the breadth and depth of your telecoms, media and technology expertise
• Proactively influencing high levels of performance from project teams
• Developing and mentoring project teams and sector members, as well as line-managing team members

Your skills and education

• Solid experience and track-record in consulting with a TMT focus – with an establish network of client relationships
• Existing project management/leadership experience
• Experience of strategy, design & implementation in the TMT environment – solid understanding and experience in digital transformation
• Experience of business planning for TMT companies
• Experience of high-level client management including being the client’s primary point of contact throughout an engagement
• Involvement in business development activities including production of proposal documents, sales meetings with clients, and identifying potential sales opportunities relating to project work
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with advanced Excel skills
• Academic Degree
• Fluency in English & Swedish
