What will your role entail?

The ideal candidate will have a successful record of leading and growing an operations management consulting practice and knowledge of the French market. 

Responsibilities will include among others: 

• Generate, maintain and continually grow a diversified engagement pipeline within DSS core client base industries
• Taking the leadership role in your area of expertise, managing the business with a focus on delivering excellence to new and existing clients
• Leading a team of Managers and Consultants with a strong focus on supporting their capability development
• Managing complex consulting engagements to ensure the project and outcomes deliver superior value to clients
• Building strong coaching relationships with key clients at C-suite level on improvement initiatives and serve as a trusted advisor to senior client executives
• Working with the regional leadership in developing new business leads & opportunities to grow the business.
• Contribute to building the strategic direction of the region to deliver the global objectives; and take an active leadership role in delivering the strategic plan in the region
• Participating and contributing to functional and/or industry networks to develop and share best practice

What are we looking for?

• 10+ years working with a leading management consulting firm, ideally combined previous experience in operational management in industries linked with our core client base (e.g. food & beverage, chemicals, utilities, transportation, construction, manufacturing
• Track record in leading complex business / operations transformation programs within the context of a rapidly changing environment
• Strong leadership skills and proven track record in building teams
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with ability to interact with clients at all levels
• Fluency in both written and spoken French and English. A third European language will be a plus
• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, MBA or MS preferred

• Ability to travel extensively across the region (France and Europe)
