Your role

As a Zanders’ Senior Manager ALM you will join our Financial Institutions’ leadership team that heads an international group of 65 highly qualified Financial Risk Management Consultants with a quantitative background (95%). To grow our business in North-West Europe, we are extending our team.

As a successful Senior Manager ALM, you will be responsible for:

  • Generating new business and project opportunities, pro-active account management and expanding the ALM client base.
  • Advising clients on their strategic ALM challenges, developing hands-on solutions, and assuring a high standard of work delivered on ALM projects.
  • Participating and hosting internal and external knowledge sharing sessions, such as round-tables, guest lectures and internal talent trainings.
  • Manage, coach and develop our ALM consultants.

Skills to be successful

Key assets to be successful are a deep understanding of Asset & Liability Management and Banking Book risk management, an excellent network with banks in the Netherlands, an entrepreneurial mindset as well as strong leadership skills.

More specifically, you will need:

  • Master’s degree in Econometrics or a similar quantitative study.
  • 10 years of experience in the ALM area within financial institutions or consultancy firms.
  • A proven track record in the field of ALM / Banking Book Risk with knowledge on best market practices, current topics and regulation.
  • Experience in managing and coaching ambitious people.
  • Experience in working with the CRO or the head of risk management and comparable decision takers, in banks, insurers and asset managers.
  • Ambitious, entrepreneurial, innovative, strategic thinker.
  • Flexible to travel.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
