Our ‘Financial Institutions’ team is looking to expand their services to the UK. Therefore, we are seeking a client facing, driven experienced consultant with a strong focus on business development.

The role

You will join our ‘Financial Institutions’ team, a team of 60 Financial Risk Management Consultants (95% have a quantitative background). This team focuses on financial risk related projects for banks, insurers and asset managers. The team operates from our offices in The Netherlands and Switzerland. And now we are expanding our services to the UK. 

You will be involved in managing client projects, networking and contributing ideas and thought leadership. This is an ideal opportunity for a consultant or someone in banking to take the next step in their career. The role therefore offers entrepreneurship and the opportunity contribute to the content development of our FRM services.


  • Advise financial institutions on their financial risk models, policies & governance
  • Support our clients in the implementation of their risk management
  • Translate (new) rules and regulations into business processes
  • Contribute to the knowledge sharing and development within the team
  • Proactively extending consultancy skills and the specialized knowledge necessary
  • Take project responsibility on the client’s site
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and development within the team

Skills to be successful

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree, preferably in Econometrics or similar
  • At least 6 years relevant experience in the field of financial risk management
  • Content knowledge surrounding ALM, market risk, credit risk and/or liquidity risk
  • Familiarity with financial products, their derivatives and regulatory landscape
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and programming tools
  • Pro-active and entrepreneurial spirit, with a focus on team work
  • Fluent in English with a second European language considered an advantage
  • Open to travel, mainly within Europe
