MHP has appointed Federico Magno as its new chief executive officer, succeeding company veteran and Ralf Hofmann.

Co-founder Ralf Hofmann has been leading MHP since 1996, during this period steering the company from an early stage start-up to a 5,000-strong consulting firm with 20 offices in 7 countries.

Headquartered in Germany, MHP is a digital-focused consulting firm, renowned for its expertise in CIO advisory, intelligent automation, SAP transformation and cloud. The firm complements its technology capabilities with organisational and change management offerings.

“We have achieved a lot together, but the journey is far from over,” said Lutz Meschke, Chairman of the Shareholders Committee of MHP. “We see high growth potential for the consulting field of digital transformation. We want to continue to consistently build on this with MHP.”

Tasked with leading that charge is Federico Magno, who has been flown in from Porsche Consulting, the parent of MHP (Porsche has held a stake in MHP since 1998, and Porsche Consulting is Porsche’s consultancy wing). “Federico has played a key role in the strong growth and internationalisation of Porsche Consulting, and he knows MHP very well thanks to the long-standing partnership between the two companies,” said Meschke.

Magno will assume his CEO and Chairman responsibilities on July 1, 2024, when Hofmann will transition to the Strategy Advisory Board.

“I have followed the extraordinary development of MHP in recent years. In an increasingly volatile world, there is enormous potential in digitalization. I am very much looking forward to further expanding MHP’s outstanding position together with my future team,” commented Magno.

Hofmann meanwhile said that he is confident that Magno will be able to successfully guide MHP into its next chapter. “In Federico, we have found the perfect candidate to succeed me as CEO. MHP will continue to grow globally in terms of size, customer structure and portfolio.”
