Our consulting business has grown above average in recent years and has built a strong reputation, particularly in the future topics of digital and sustainable transformation. I aim to continue on this path and ensure we focus on the right transformation topics.”

Volker Krug, CEO of Deloitte in Germany, described Hauptmann as the “ideal candidate to succeed Nicolai Andersen [who transitioned into a global role], and lead the German consulting business into its next chapter of success.”

In Germany, Deloitte generates around €1.3 billion in revenues, with consulting its fastest growing service line. According to data from Handelsblatt, Deloitte Consulting has managed to grow by more than 30% each year in the German market since the Covid-19 pandemic.
