Capgemini buys German system integrator Lösch & Partner
Capgemini has acquired Lösch & Partner, a German firm specialised in application lifecycle management and systems engineering.
Lösch & Partner is headquartered in Munich. Since its creation in 1984, the company has built a strong track record in application lifecycle management and systems engineering services, with a focus on the automotive industry.
Henrik Ljungström, managing director of Capgemini in Germany, said that the specialist expertise of Lösch & Partner will bolster the firm’s IT system integration services for clients in the automotive sector, and more broadly, those in the manufacturing landscape.
Lösch & Partner will also boost Capgemini’s offerings in application management across the full lifecycle, from the development and build through to the maintenance of software-defined products.
The deal is Capgemini’s first this year in Europe, although the Paris-listed IT giant did pick up a company in Australia (D+I) and a digital twin business in the United States.
Nick Dudok, CEO of Lösch & Partner, commented: “Lösch & Partner enables the future competitiveness of manufacturing companies via state-of-the-art product development processes, to enable the convergence of software and hardware. This fits perfectly with Capgemini’s end to end approach to enabling intelligent industry. Combining our expertise and leveraging the Group’s global scale will mean we can better serve the needs of our joint clients.”
