Claudia Montero new President of Eurogroup Consulting in France
Eurogroup Consulting has named Claudia Montero as President of its business in France. She steps into the shoes of Gilles Bonnenfant, who is making the transition to an international role.
In her new position, effective 1 September 2024, Claudia Montero will lead one of France’ largest homegrown management consulting firms, including its different subsidiaries, with a combined team of over 400 consultants.
Montero was the most likely candidate to ascend to the role – she has been with the company her entire career, has been part of the Management Team for over a decade, and serves as General Manager since 2020.
“I am honoured by the trust placed in me by the partners of Eurogroup Consulting. I have seen the firm grow over the past 26 years, and am determined to continue the firm’s growth trajectory, while upholding our key values of freedom, entrepreneurial spirit and independence.”
In her client work, Montero specialises in topics such as business planning, performance improvement, entrepreneurship, operational excellence, and IT strategy. She works mainly with public sector clients, with a strong focus on the healthcare segment. She also has experience in the manufacturing and energy sectors, among others.
Internally, Montero has played a pivotal role in shaping Eurogroup Consulting’s human resources policy, and as General Manager, she oversees the company’s strategy, operations, talent development and investment agenda.
Founded in 1982, Eurogroup Consulting works for clients in the banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail, logistics, energy, utilities, transport, and telecom sectors. The firm also serves government agencies, local authorities and healthcare institutions.
Eurogroup Consulting also operates with four subsidiaries in the French market: Newton.Vaureal (supply chain consulting), INUO Performance (financial and operational consulting), KAIRN Strategy Consulting (strategic services), and Javeness (artificial intelligence).
Outside of France, Eurogroup Consulting has further offices in London, Casablanca, Abu Dhabi and Singapore. Gilles Bonnenfant, a 25+ year veteran of the company and outgoing President, will in his new role as President of Eurogroup Company (the holding above the French and international businesses) focus on the group’s continued international growth.
For cross-border activities, Eurogroup Consulting works closely with other members of Nextcontinent, a global network of consultancies with over 3,000 staff worldwide.
