International management and data firm Metyis has added two industry heavyweights to its Advisory Council, lifting the size of its non-executive board to five.

Cees ‘t Hart and Jeroen Drost both bring decades of leadership experience from some of the world’s most renowned companies to Metyis. The two executives join Juan María Nin Génova (Chairman), Alexandra Rocca and Willem Brocker on the Advisory Board.

Yogen Singh, Senior Partner of Metyis, said the arrival of the two executives marks an exciting milestone for Metyis, and reflect the firm’s commitment to enhancing its C-level capabilities towards clients, and providing fresh and proven perspectives to the leadership team.

“It is an absolute privilege to have Cees and Jeroen join our advisory council. I have known and worked with both of them over the years and I have always been impressed with how they have successfully navigated their respective organisations to great successes,” said Singh.

“As we continue to grow Metyis at a fast pace in multiple geographies, we need to understand and continually respond to the opportunities and challenges we face. We, above all, understand the importance of surrounding ourselves with people who bring expertise, knowledge and experience and know the value that it has. Cees and Jeroen are also great individuals who are fun to work with. They are exactly what we need at Metyis.”

Cees ‘t Hart most recently served as the CEO of Carlsberg from 2015 until 2023. Earlier in his career, he had a 25-year tenure at Unilever, where he held various roles across five countries. During that time, he played a key role in the merger that formed Royal FrieslandCampina, which he subsequently led for nearly eight years.

Commenting on his association with Metyis, ‘t Hart said: “I've been fortunate to lead some great companies over the years, and I’ve learned the value of good advice and practical solutions. That’s why I’m thrilled to be joining Metyis’ Advisory Council. Together, I believe we can offer something truly valuable to businesses trying to make sense of today's complex landscape.”

Jeroen Drost similarly brings CEO experience at a listed group to Metyis. Up until April this year, he served as CEO of SHV Holdings, during his eight-year tenure playing a pivotal role in fostering the partnership between SHV Holdings and Metyis, which began five years ago.

This collaboration led to the creation of Adaptfy, a joint venture embedded within SHV that focuses on bringing cutting-edge data and analytics solutions to the organisation.

Earlier, Drost served as CEO of ABN Amro’s operation in Asia, as CEO of NIBC for six years, and as CEO of investment house NPM Capital, among others.

“I am really honored to join the Advisory Council as I regard Metyis as one of the leading consultancy houses. I actually have been closely involved with Metyis for several years through a longstanding cooperation between Metyis and my previous employer in the area of data analytics. I hope to contribute to the further worldwide success of Metyis by bringing my broad expertise and experience in a large variety of sectors and geographies to the Advisory Council.”

Both ‘t Hart and Drost hold their roles at Metyis alongside other executive and non-executive roles.
