Devoteam acquires Dutch ServiceNow practice of Eraneos
Devoteam has acquired the Technology business of Eraneos in the Netherlands, boosting its Dutch team with specialised ServiceNow and Atlassian capabilities.
Martijn van Veen, Managing Director of Devoteam in the Benelux, said the firm is delighted to beef up its capabilities in an area which is of strategic importance for Devoteam.
“With this deal, we are responding to the growing demand for service management, and specifically ServiceNow, in the Dutch market,” he said. “It also strengthens our overall presence in the Dutch market, as ServiceNow complements our IT consultancy services to drive business transformations.”
The 45-person team transferring is part of Eraneos Technology, which was acquired by Eraneos in 2018. The team is specialized in workflow automation projects and the implementation of platforms for collaboration, most notably ServiceNow, but also Atlassian.
“We are delighted to welcome the Eraneos Technology team to the Devoteam family. This will allow us to solidify our position as a leading ServiceNow provider in the Benelux and EMEA and deliver even greater value to our clients,” said Jean-Marc Chevereau, Group General Manager of Devoteam’s ServiceNow business unit.
ServiceNow is the world’s largest software platform for running processes such as IT Service Management, Customer Service Management, IT Operations, HR Delivery, and Risk Management. The cloud-based platform is used by organisations across all sectors, such as financial services, energy, government, manufacturing, and utilities.
Currently holding Elite Partner status (the highest level within ServiceNow’s partner program), Devoteam ranks as one of ServiceNow’s leading consulting and implementation partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“The prospect of joining Devoteam is an exciting opportunity for our team,” said Olivier Cramer, Business Development Manager of Eraneos Technology. “Becoming part of a larger team of ServiceNow experts allows us to focus on the technology and leverage the growth opportunities that come with being part of a leading European organisation.”
The deal comes a month after Devoteam bolstered its AWS cloud capabilities with the acquisition of UK-based Ubertas Consulting. The group has over 11,000 staff in the EMEA region.
Meanwhile, for Eraneos, the move is part of its strategic focus to “sharpen its portfolio of services” and “harmonise the core services offered across the group”, said Oliver Vaterlaus, CEO of Eraneos.
Eraneos has over 1,100 consultants across offices in 8 countries. The firm has grown rapidly in recent years, in part through a foundational merger and several acquisitions. “We will continue to pursue expansion beyond our current footprint,” said Vaterlaus about the future.
