Sopra Steria acquires Norwegian design consultancy EGGS Design

French technology consulting and services firm Sopra Steria has acquired EGGS Design, a Norway-based design and innovation consultancy with around 120 staff.

With offices in Norway and Denmark, EGGS Design is a leading design and innovation consultancy firm with revenues of approximately NOK 150 million. The company assists clients with digital transformation through co-creation of new products and services by bringing together emerging technology with human-centric design.

Now part of Sopra Steria, EGGS Design will be able to leverage the group’s technology capabilities and pan-European footprint to broaden its services and make more impact at its clients, said Eline Strøm-Gundersen from EGGS Design.

“Digitalisation is the driving force that makes innovation scalable, accessible, and efficient. At the same time, innovation processes must be met with creativity, design thinking, and craftsmanship. Bringing the two together will enable us to provide an end-to-end offering that is part of the business’s strategies and core processes,” she said.

Headquartered in Paris, Sopra Steria has more than 46,000 employees in 25 countries.

EGGS Design will continue to operate under its own brand, with the tagline ‘Part of Sopra Steria’ added to its branding and logo.
