Sopra Steria subsidiary EGGS launches in Belgium and Luxembourg
Norwegian design and innovation consultancy EGGS has expanded its footprint into Belgium and Luxembourg.
Months after EGGS cemented its footprint in its powerhouse Scandinavian market with the launch of a new office in Stockholm, EGGS has now followed suit with new offices in Brussels and Luxembourg City.
Dominique Gigon, Director of EGGS in Belgium and Luxembourg, said that the move into the two Benelux countries followed a “strategic analysis of market potential and the vibrant business ecosystem in these two countries.”
“The expansion is not just about geographic growth but also about bringing a fresh perspective to the industries in Belgium and Luxembourg, empowering businesses to navigate the complexities of the digital age with design-driven solutions,” he added.
Founded in 2012 in Oslo, EGGS is an innovation consultancy that merges strategy, design, and technology to create innovative products, services, and brands. The firm, which was acquired by Sopra Steria in 2021, now has a presence in five countries: Norway, Sweden, Spain, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Asked how EGGS differentiates itself in the marketplace, Gigon said: “Our user-centric methodology is not just about envisioning the future but making it tangible. As designers and crafters, we believe in creating real, immediate outcomes together with our clients. This means our clients don’t have to wait until the project’s end to see results – they experience the impact from the start in collaboration with us.”
To support the local ambitions, EGGS has assembled a founding team of experts with diverse backgrounds in design, technology, strategy, and business development. “Together, they bring a background in industries such as defence and homeland security, healthcare, finance and the public sector, as well as aerospace and transportation.”
Some of the team members have crossed internally from Sopra Steria, while others have been hired externally.
