KPMG names Stephane Souchet leader of Corporate Finance arm in France

KPMG has named Stephane Souchet as the new leader of its Corporate Finance practice in France.

Having served as a partner within KPMG’s Deal Advisory division for the past eight years, Stephane Souchet now steps up to lead the Corporate Finance service line, which has a team of around a dozen partners and over 120 professionals.

KPMG Corporate Finance offers a wide range of services to mid-sized companies, blue chip corporations, private equity funds, and governments, including mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and debt advisory, leveraged buyouts, valuations, financial modeling, structuring and financing of infrastructure projects, as well as real estate transactions.

The practice is one of the leading corporate finance houses in the French market, according to data from research institutes including Mergermarket and PitchBook.

Souchet has been active in the world of mergers & acquisitions for over 25 years. Initially working at the investment banking side of the sector, he transitioned to the consulting side in 2016 when he joined KPMG. He currently also is the Global Head of the Industrial Manufacturing industry sector, which services clients in segments such as aerospace, defence, engineering, industrial products, and metals.
