Precio Fishbone acquires boutique NGO consultancy Data4Development
Swedish IT services group Precio Fishbone has acquired Data4Development, a Dutch boutique that supports non-profit organisations with project management and data services.
Stockholm-based Precio Fishbone is an IT consultancy firm specialised in Microsoft-based solutions. The firm’s consultants advise on digital transformation, its technology experts design and build applications and systems, while its implementation consultants bring these systems to life. Precio Fishbone also provides its clients with a range of in-house solutions, including NGO Online.
The purchase of Data4Development will strengthen the company’s consulting team, and deepen its knowhow in the non-profit sector. The team crossing to Data 4 Development will also focus on expanding the footprint of NGO Online.
“The acquisition of Data4Development is important and valuable for our niche delivery to the NGO sector and for our ability to further grow in Europe. With this move, we further strengthen our team, bringing in skilled consultants with experience in both project management and NGO operations. We also gain access to an existing network and customer base,” said Björn Bemgård, Business Area Manager for NGO Online.
Founded in 2015, Data4Development is a boutique business consultancy with extensive experience in the NGO sector. The Amsterdam-based firm was last year listed among the leading non-profit consultancies in the Netherlands.
Maaike Blom, Co-founder and Partner at Data4Development, said: “As part of this acquisition, we will now focus on supporting NGO Online, Precio Fishbone’s advanced project, program & grant management software for non-profits and aid organizations. With our deep experience in the NGO sector, we are confident that we can contribute to expand its reach and enhance its functionality, driving more impact for non-profits.”
“While we embark on this new journey, we want to assure our clients that our dedication to helping NGOs thrive remains at the core of what we do, and now, with the added capabilities of NGO Online, we’re better equipped than ever to meet the sector’s demands.”
