Kroll launches Dutch restructuring practice with addition of ACE Advisory
Kroll has beefed up its presence in the Dutch market with the acquisition of ACE Advisory, a boutique firm specialised in restructuring services.
Founded in 2020 by Nenad Cvjetkovic and Gerben Bos, ACE Advisory supports its clients with two lines of business: debt advisory, and restructuring & turnaround management. The firm has since its inception grown to a team of around half a dozen – they have now joined Kroll in its newly established Restructuring practice.
The move sees Kroll’s Dutch arm add capabilities in turnaround and restructuring, independent business reviews, and debt restructuring to its other suite of services, which includes mergers & acquisitions (valuations and financial due diligence), forensic investigations & expert services, and compliance & regulatory risk.
“ACE Advisory’s restructuring expertise will be invaluable as we expand in the Netherlands and across Europe. This acquisition broadens our advisory capabilities, providing clients with unmatched expertise in navigating complex global business landscapes,” said Sarah Rayment, Managing Director and Global Head of Restructuring at Kroll.
The deal sees Cvjetkovic and Bos join Kroll as Managing Director and Co-Heads of the Restructuring practice. “We are excited to join Kroll’s extensive global platform and resources. Kroll is the right partner for us, enabling us to elevate our services and expand our client support,” said Cvjetkovic.
Bos meanwhile pointed at the benefits of being able to tap into Kroll’s global network. “We are seeing an increase in cross-border restructurings. Joining forces with Kroll allows us to expand our reach and enhance our support for Dutch companies with international operations and multinationals with interests in the Netherlands.”
In 2023, Kroll also acquired BFI, a boutique Dutch consultancy specialised in economic valuation services.
Globally, Kroll has more than 6,500 professionals working from 50+ offices in five continents.
