AlixPartners boosts German team with Michael Glaschke and Julia Arbery
Global management consulting firm AlixPartners has welcomed two new partners in Germany: Michael Glaschke and Julia Arbery.
Appointed a Partner & Managing Director, Michael Glaschke brings over 20 years of experience advising clients in the areas of strategy, performance improvement and operational excellence, mainly in the domains of operations, sales, procurement and back office functions. He also has experience in corporate finance, mergers & acquisitions, and post-deal value creation.
Glaschke most recently served McKinsey & Company, where he spent 18 years and was a senior partner focused on clients in the energy, chemicals, metals, and retail sectors. He was a member of the firm’s Global Operating Committee for the Energy & Materials practice, and led its European transformation offering in the sector.
“Michael has successfully supported numerous companies in significantly increasing their operational efficiency, optimizing their financial performance and developing sustainable growth strategies,” said Andreas Rüter, Head of Germany at AlixPartners. “He is an internationally recognized expert in the chemical, energy and basic materials sectors.”
Julia Arbery meanwhile joins AlixPartners as a Partner in the Risk Advisory practice. She has many years of international and cross-industry experience in compliance, remediation and monitoring. She most recently Managing Partner of the DACH business of StoneTurn, an American management consulting firm. Before that, she worked at Siemens, BP, and KPMG, among others.
At AlixPartners team, Arbery will advise multinational companies on the development and implementation of effective ethics and compliance programs. She will also focus on corporate governance work.
