Horváth appoints long-standing partners Heiko Fink and Niko Hofmann to board

International management consultancy Horváth has appointed long-standing partners Heiko Fink and Niko Hofmann to its four-member board team.

Heiko Fink has been with Horváth his entire career, having joined the firm in 2004 as a consultant after completing his studies in Germany. He was elected a partner in 2016.

At Horváth, Fink primarily focuses on transformation and optimization projects for multinational companies in various industries. He has played a key role in the growth of the Strategy & Transformation practice, and is additionally the co-founder of the firm’s CxO Priorities research series.

In the board, Fink will serve as Chief Sales Officer, overseeing business development, sales excellence and market expansion. He will also be responsible for the consulting divisions Strategy & Transformation and Operations.

Niko Hofmann also started his career at Horváth back in 2002. He has played a key role in shaping the Controlling & Finance division over the past two decades. He also led the Management Accounting & Operational Control and Treasury practices, and served as managing director of Horváth’s holding company.

In his new board role, Hofmann will take on the role of Chief Financial Officer per the start of the 2025/2026 financial year. He will also assume the role of CIO, responsible for IT strategy and operations.

The newly appointed duo join Helmut Ahr (CEO) and Stefan Hiendlmeier (Chief People Officer) in the 4-person board. They succeed Altfrid Neugebauer (former CFO) and Axel Borcherding (former CIO and COO), who have stepped down on their own request.

Founded in 1981, Horváth is one of the larger German-origin management consultancy firms, with 1,400 employees across locations in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. The firm has grown its revenues by around 30% in the past three years.
