H&Z Management Consulting adds senior financial services team in Germany

H&Z Management Consulting has bolstered its capabilities in the financial services sector with the hire of an experienced team.

Per the 1st of this month, a team led by Oliver Wehrkamp and further consisting of Sönke Mehrtens, Philip Gibson, Maximilian Kempf and Yannick Elfen has joined H&Z Management Consulting in its German business. All five cross from rival consultancy firm Horváth.

“This team brings a strong track record of successful across banking, insurance and financial service providers,” said Michael Santo, Managing Partner of H&Z. “This move emphasizes H&Z’s role as a trusted partner in the financial services sector for strategy and transformation topics, and as a go-to partner for COOs and CIOs.”

While the best has combined expertise across the financial services consulting landscape, their focus lies in the COO and CIO areas of banks, in areas such as operations, cost and performance improvement, procurement, digital strategy, and IT transformation.

Wehrkamp has meanwhile been appointed as Industry Lead for the Financial Services practice.
