Strategy& adds Florian Mayr to its Deals Strategy practice

Strategy& has expanded its Deals Strategy practice in Germany with former McKinsey-man Florian Mayr.

Based in Berlin, Florian Mayr will advise private equity investors and companies on their M&A strategy, mergers & acquisitions and other financial transactions. His focus is on commercial due diligence, value creation projects, and the development of growth strategies and business models, with a particular emphasis on energy infrastructure and cleantech.

Mayr brings nearly 20 years of experience in the energy sector to Strategy&, gained both in consulting and in industry. He began his career at strategy consultancy McKinsey & Company and subsequently moved into in-house consulting role at RWE.

The past decade he was a partner at Apricum, an expert advisory specializing in the renewable energy and cleantech sector. There, he headed the energy storage, green hydrogen, and energy digitalization offerings.
