Clearwater adds Martin Kooistra and Robert Voogd to Dutch team

Global M&A consultancy Clearwater has boosted its senior team in the Netherlands with Martin Kooistra and Robert Voogd.

Appointed a partner, Martin Kooistra has over 18 years of international M&A experience, supporting entrepreneurs, financial sponsors, and corporates specialising in industrials, business services, and consumer markets. His expertise encompasses cross-border sell-side and buy-side advisory, valuation assessments, and corporate carve-outs.

Before joining Clearwater, Kooistra was a Director at KPMG in its Corporate Finance wing, where he led the Industrials sector team. He also held M&A roles at ING in Amsterdam and Deloitte in Dubai.

Appointed a director Robert Voogd previously worked for PwC in its M&A team in both the Netherlands and Australia. He has primarily advised entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses on domestic and cross-border sell-side transactions to private equity investors. His experience also includes buy-side engagements, business enterprise valuations, restructuring projects, and financial and operational due diligence assignments.
