PMP Strategy bolsters Private Equity practice with hire of Henri-Pierre Vacher

PMP Strategy has bolstered its mergers & acquisitions and private equity capabilities with the arrival of Henri-Pierre Vacher.
Based in Paris and a member of the Private Equity practice, Vacher will work with the firm’s other leaders – most notably Jonathan Zelmanovitch and François Cousi – to grow PMP Strategy private equity offerings and client portfolio. The practice supports financial sponsors with M&A advisory, due diligence and transaction services, as well as value creation in the post-deal phase.
Vacher brings over 25 years of experience in strategic consulting and management to PMP Strategy. Over the past 15 years, he has advised primarily investment funds, sovereign funds, as well as institutional investors and multinationals, both in Europe and Asia, notably in China.
In consulting, he previously held leadership positions at Oliver Wyman, OC&C Strategy Consultants, and Roland Berger, in France and China, with a focus on private equity, due diligence, and value creation in various sectors. He also was a senior partner at EY-Parthenon where he supervised its private equity services in France.
His track record includes leading or participating in more than 350 strategic due diligence engagements, mainly in the retail and consumer goods sectors, and also in B2B services, ICT, construction, and education sectors. He is particularly involved in the strategic evaluation of acquisition targets and sales support on behalf of investment funds and large groups. He also supports portfolio companies in the development and execution of their post-acquisition strategic plans.
“We are thrilled to welcome Henri-Pierre, a recognized professional in the sector and an entrepreneur at heart, who bolsters our rapidly expanding Private Equity activities across all our geographies,” said Gilles Vaqué, President of PMP Strategy. “I am sure that with his experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and sense of teamwork, he will enable us to accelerate and have even more impact for our clients.”
Commenting on his move, Vacher said: “I am happy to join PMP Strategy at a time when funds and their holdings need not only specialists who understand the industries in which they operate but also partners who help them deeply transform companies to significantly improve performance. PMP Strategy is strategy with impact!”
Headquartered in Paris, PMP Strategy has over 170 partners and consultants working from 11 offices in Europe (Paris, London, Luxembourg, Brussels), the Middle East (Dubai), Africa (Casablanca), and North America (New York, Seattle, Montreal, Toronto).
