Jean-Marie Passelande and Guillaume Silvy-Leligois to lead BPCE Partenaire Conseil

BPCE Partenaire Conseil, a joint venture company by Groupe BPCE and Eurogroup Consulting, has appointed Jean-Marie Passelande as Chairman and Guillaume Silvy-Leligois as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Together, they will lead the development of the recently launched consulting firm.

Established earlier this year, BPCE Partenaire Conseil is a management consulting business that supports the different entities of BPCE Group, and their clients such as SMEs, mid-caps and institutions, with organisational and digital transformation.

With over 35 million customers around the world, BPCE Group is the second-largest banking group in France. The group has over 100,000 staff working from offices in multiple countries. BPCE Partenaire Conseil will serve many businesses within its footprint, including Banques Populaires, Caisses d’Epargne, Banque Palatine and Oney.

A key factor behind the launch of BPCE Partenaire Conseil is the need to provide more regionally tailored services. Groupe BPCE operates relatively decentralised, with teams organised to serve specific territories in France and internationally.

Leading BPCE Partenaire Conseil is Jean-Marie Passelande, who has been appointed as Chairman. He is a partner at Eurogroup Consulting, and notably, also worked for Groupe BPCE in between his consulting career (he earlier also served Deloitte and Ineum Consulting). “I’m delighted to take on this role and lead the setup and growth of BPCE Partenaire Conseil.”

Guillaume Silvy-Leligois meanwhile has been appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He comes from Groupe BPCE and brings close to 20 years of banking expertise to the role.

The goal of the two leaders is to grow BPCE Partenaire Conseil to a 100-person business by the end of 2025. By 2030, the company should have more than 200 consultants, and a track record of over 3,000 completed projects.
