Sebastien Caron joins strategy consultancy CIL in Paris office

International strategy consultancy CIL has appointed Sebastien Caron as a Director in its Paris office.

Hired earlier this year, Sebastien Caron has over 15 years of experience in strategy consulting, with a focus on mergers & acquisitions and transaction due diligence. He is dedicated to the healthcare and life sciences sector, serving both strategics and private equity firms across their deal lifecycle.

This week, CIL announced the appointment of Caron to Director level, alongside two new Director hires in its London office.

“CIL is experiencing strong growth, both internationally and in France, and I’m excited to contribute to this momentum. I am particularly enthusiastic about supporting the continued expansion of the Healthcare and Life Sciences practice, a sector where CIL already has strong expertise and where I see significant potential for further development,” said Caron.

Founded in 1986, CIL has offices in the UK (headquarters), the US, Germany, and France. Its French business launched in 2022 and has since then grown its position in the mid-sized segment for strategy and M&A work.

“My goal is to help the Paris team strengthen its position as a trusted partner for investors and companies, while accompanying clients in capturing growth opportunities and creating long-term value,” said Caron.

Earlier in his career, Caron worked at Roland Berger, KPMG, and Arthur D. Little.
