Interpath welcomes Megan Smythe and Yvonne Diamond to Irish team

International consulting firm Interpath has expanded its leadership team in Ireland with the hires of Megan Smythe and Yvonne Diamond.

Appointed a Managing Director, Megan Smythe is a member of the M&A practice. She provides corporate finance and M&A advisory services on buy and sell-side transactions to clients across the Irish market. Smythe arrives from KPMG where she gained experience with a wide range of deals and cross-border mandates.

Commenting on her appointment, Smythe said: “It’s an exciting time to join Interpath. The Irish M&A landscape remains buoyant, with strong levels of deal activity from both corporates and private equity investors. I’m looking forward to working with our clients, both domestically and internationally, to unlock opportunities, drive value, and deliver outcomes that truly matter.”

Yvonne Diamond meanwhile arrives from BDO, where she worked in its Financial Services Tax practice. An Irish Tax Institute CPD tutor, she has been appointed a Director in the Tax practice, focusing on tax structuring, transaction support, and tax compliance.

“I’m excited to be joining the growing tax practice of Interpath,” said Diamond. “Interpath provides a wide scope of services including tax advisory, tax support for M&A and transaction services, resolution of tax controversy, insolvency and restructuring. These two appointments grow the leadership team of Interpath in Ireland to 14 Managing Directors and 22 Directors. The local business is led by Kieran Wallace.
