Oliver Wyman promotes Suzanne van der Meijden and Jeffrey Hennen to partner
International strategy and management consulting firm Oliver Wyman has appointed two new partners in its Amsterdam office: Suzanne van der Meijden and Jeffrey Hennen.
Suzanne van der Meijden is a true example of talent developed from within the firm. She joined Oliver Wyman in 2015 as a junior and has since progressed through all ranks. With her admission to the partnership, she becomes the first ‘home-grown’ partner of the Amsterdam office.
Van der Meijden is a member of the Performance Transformation practice, where she applies her expertise to large-scale transformations. Her work focuses primarily on the transport and logistics sector, with an emphasis on process improvement.
Jeffrey Hennen joined Oliver Wyman in 2021 and leads the Actuarial practice in the Netherlands and Belgium. Under his leadership, the practice has grown into a team of twenty professionals across Amsterdam and Brussels.
Hennen has nineteen years of experience in risk management and actuarial consulting for insurance companies, with extensive expertise in balance sheet management, financial risk and capital modelling, Solvency II, IFRS and mergers & acquisitions. Before joining Oliver Wyman, he worked at PwC and WTW.
Global promotions round
The duo is part of 44 senior promotions across twenty Oliver Wyman offices worldwide. Most of the appointments are in the United States, where the firm is headquartered.
In the Netherlands, Oliver Wyman has a team of over 100 consultants and staff. The Amsterdam office is led by Coen de Vuijst and Cornelia Neumann.
