Valcon acquires Swedish data and AI firm Bricobomba
In its second Nordic deal this year, Valcon has acquired Bricobomba, a Swedish consulting firm specialised in data and artificial intelligence.
Established in 2019, Bricobomba is a Stockholm-based firm with around 35 professionals. The company helps its clients with topics including data engineering, cloud data platform architecture, business intelligence, analytics and machine learning.

Bricobomba will be integrated into Valcon’s Scandinavian business, which is one of the largest markets for the pan-Europea firm. In the Nordics, Valcon operates with offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden, and Copenhagen and Aarhus in Denmark. Earlier this year, the Danish business bought Beyond Advisors.

The announcement comes shortly after Valcon’s leadership team set out an ambitious new strategy to position the firm as a “powerhouse in AI and data-led business transformation”. This goal is backed by investor Rivean Capital Partners alongside longstanding financial sponsor Waterland.
In a recent interview, CEO Van den Goor signalled that in line with the strategy, Valcon is actively exploring acquisitions to accelerate growth in existing markets – such as the Nordics, the Benelux and the UK – and to expand into new territories, with DACH the main target on the firm’s radar.
