Civitta expands Lithuanian business with addition of funding specialist NPR
Hot on the heels of its expansion into the US, pan-European player Civitta has now closed a deal closer to home.
In Lithuania, Civitta has acquired Nacionalinių Projektų Rengimas (NPR), a boutique consulting company with a strong track record in securing EU funding for both private and public sector clients.
NPR’s team has experience across the EU funding value chain, from preparing fund applications and business plans to advising during project implementation and administering funded projects through to completion. The company was founded in 2007 and currently employs 10 people.
“We are proud to welcome NPR’s team to Civitta. Their practical experience, technical knowledge and trusted relationships in the Lithuanian funding market add tremendous value and further enrich our community of experts,” said Age Laine, Managing Partner of Innovation and Funding Advisory at Civitta.
“This deal adds deep expertise in areas such as project documentation, feasibility studies, strategic planning, sustainability reporting, environmental impact assessments and public–private partnership preparation.”
Headquartered in Estonia and Lithuania, Civitta has a team of more than 700 experts operating across 22 countries. Its turnover is close to €50 million.
“We are delighted to join forces with Civitta, as this merger will allow us to complement each other’s strengths and deliver even greater value to our clients. With this step, we become one of the largest EU funding advisory teams in the Lithuanian market, creating strong synergy and new opportunities for growth,” said Eimantas Galkevičius, CEO of NPR.
The deal marks Civitta’s third transaction in just a few months, following the acquisitions of US-based J.E. Austin Associates and Armenia-based HackTech.
