EPSA’s Dutch subsidiary Boer & Croon buys operational excellence specialist
Dutch consultancy firm Boer & Croon, part of the EPSA Group, has acquired Accelerant Consulting, an Amsterdam-based firm specialized in operational excellence and performance improvement.
Accelerant Consulting was founded by former senior members of Celerant Consulting, not too long after that firm was acquired by Hitachi. The company supports organisations across Europe and beyond with performance improvement, operational transformation, and change management.
Accelerant Consulting has around 25 consultants and associates, who will now become part of Boer & Croon’s consultancy practice (the firm is also active in interim management and executive search).
For Boer & Croon, the acquisition is part of its strategy to broaden its advisory offerings and further strengthen its focus on execution.

Founded in 1973, Boer & Croon is today one of the leading consultancy firms in the Netherlands, with around 220 employees and multiple industry awards.

Both Hermsen and Chaturvedi previously spent years at Celerant Consulting before launching Accelerant Consulting. Over time, they recruited several former Celerant Consutling colleagues into the firm.
Boer & Croon is part of the France-based EPSA Group, which employs around 800 people in the Netherlands and 3,500 worldwide. EPSA itself recently turned to an acquisition to enter the Nordic market.
