Roland Berger appoints Raphael Maccagnan to Swiss partner team
Roland Berger has strengthened its partnership in Switzerland with Raphael Maccagnan, who joins from industry counterpart EY-Parthenon.
Appointed a partner in the Zurich office, Maccagnan is a member of the Transaction & Investor Services practice. In his new role, he leads the Value Creation offering for private equity clients.
Commenting on his move, he said: “EY‑Parthenon has been an exceptional place to grow, contribute, and belong, and I leave with nothing but respect and appreciation. I now look forward to what lies ahead at Roland Berger working with outstanding colleagues, partnering with investors, and helping private equity firms unlock sustainable value in increasingly complex environments.”
Maccagnan has been working in transactions and management consulting for over 15 years. He joined EY-Parthenon in 2016 as a partner in the Transaction Strategy and Execution group. Before that, he worked as an independent consultant with a focus on private equity advisory and value creation.
Maccagnan advises clients along the entire transaction cycle – from due diligence to the implementation of value enhancement programs in the context of exits. He has served clients in a wide range of sectors, including financial services, utilities, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and railway sectors in Europe, Southeast Asia, and North America.
“I am passionate about driving growth and transformation for my clients and empowering them to achieve their full potential,” he noted.
Roland Berger is one of the world’s leading strategy consulting firms and the largest with a European heritage. The privately-held firm launched its Swiss business in 1997 – today, it is one of more than 50 offices worldwide.
