PwC appoints Philippe Trouchaud as new Chair of France and Maghreb business
PwC has appointed Philippe Trouchaud as the new Chair of its Supervisory Board in France and the Maghreb.
In his new role, Philippe Trouchaud chairs the Supervisory Board, which oversees the company’s management and overall governance.
PwC operates more than 20 offices across its footprint in France and the Maghreb, covering the francophone regions of North Africa. The business employs over 7,000 people across its audit, advisory and tax divisions.
Trouchaud has been with PwC since 2002 and most recently served as Chief Technology Officer. He has been a member of the Executive Board for France and Maghreb for several years. Previously, he led PwC’s consulting practice for the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sector in France, and then went on to lead the telecommunications practice at the EMEA level.
Earlier in his career, he also worked for Big Four counterparts KPMG and EY. Throughout his 30 years in business, he has mainly specialized in digital transformation, cybersecurity, and technology-driven innovation.
“My focus has always been on helping companies to take advantage of technologies. I’m particularly interested in the human side of these major changes,” he said.
A recognized expert in cybersecurity, Trouchaud is the author of several books, including ‘Cybersecurity Beyond Technology’.
