Accenture acquires Spanish data and AI consultancy firm Keepler

Accenture has acquired Keepler, a leading data and AI consultancy firm in the Spanish market. The bolt-on adds around 240 people to Accenture’s business in three countries.

Founded in 2018, Keepler offers AI and data capabilities across the value chain, from defining a data strategy and building cloud-native data foundations to deploying advanced analytics, generative AI and agentic AI. The company works for clients in numerous industries, including manufacturing, financial services, energy, telecom, retail, and travel & tourism.

As part of the deal, Keepler’s 240-person team – comprising consultants, technical architects, data scientists, analysts and software engineers working from offices in Madrid, London and Lisbon – will join Accenture.

For Keepler, joining forces with the global consulting giant will enable the firm to “further scale our solutions and drive innovation to clients across Spain and beyond,” said Juan María Aramburu, CEO of Keepler.

Terms of the transaction – including the acquisition of the stake held by private equity investment firm DTCP – were not disclosed.

The acquisition continues a series of investments Accenture is making to beef up its data and AI capabilities. Earlier, the firm acquired Faculty, Decho, NeuraFlash; and Halfspace, among others.
