FTI Consulting appoints Anand Raghuraman as Senior Managing Director
FTI Consulting has appointed Anand Raghuraman as a Senior Managing Director in its Amsterdam office.
A member of the Corporate Finance segment, Anand Raghuraman brings more than 25 years of experience in management consultancy and the retail and consumer products industry to FTI Consulting.
Throughout his career, he has led and advised on commercial strategies, operational improvement initiatives and complex enterprise-wide profit improvement programmes for businesses and private equity firms. He has worked on projects around the world, including Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia.
Having been based in the US for most of his career, Raghuraman recently relocated to the Netherlands, where he served as a Senior Advisor to FTI Consulting’s Business Transformation practice in Amsterdam. He now steps into a formal role within the firm.

In his role, he will focus in particular on private equity firms and their portfolio companies, in areas such as strategic transformations, performance improvement, as well as mergers & acquisitions (pre-deal diligence and post-deal optimisation work). Raghuraman will also become part of FTI Consulting’s senior bench of experienced interim managers, acting as Chief Transformation Officer for clients for clients requiring immediate executive support.

Earlier in his career, Raghuraman was a Partner at Roland Berger, where he co-founded the firm’s Americas Consumer Goods & Retail practice. In addition, he previously held senior positions at Riveron, EY-Parthenon, Boston Consulting Group and Kurt Salmon (now a decade part of Accenture). Outside of consulting, he served as the Senior Vice President of Strategy at US-based retailer Ross Stores, among others.
FTI Consulting has more than 8,100 employees in 32 countries around the world. Its Dutch practice launched in 2021 after the firm acquired a local player.
