Pierluigi Serlenga to lead Southern and Eastern Europe business of Bain & Company
Bain & Company has appointed Pierluigi Serlenga as Managing Partner for Southern and Eastern Europe, a geographic region that includes Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, and Poland.
In his new role, Pierluigi Serlenga will lead the firm’s strategic direction in the region and oversee a team of over 1,000 professionals working across industry verticals and practice areas. He will work closely together with Bain & Company’s other senior leaders in the region, including Ignacio Otero (Iberia), Dimitris Psarris (Greece), Onur Candar (Turkey), and Patryk Rudnicki (Central and Eastern Europe).

Serlenga has been with Bain & Company for over 25 years, growing the ranks in its Italian business. He advises industrial clients across sectors, including aerospace, defense and government services, utilities and alternative energy, machinery, systems and equipment, and construction and building products.
He has a wide range of expertise across areas such as performance improvement, transformation, organization and mergers & acquisitions, as well as both business unit and corporate-level strategy. He has also led several business and operational due diligences on industrial goods and services players for both financial and industrial investors.
Serlenga will retain responsibility as Managing Partner for Italy and his role as global co-leader of the Aerospace, Defense and Government Services practice.
