McKinsey veteran Marcus Hohmann joins OMMAX as CFO and COO
Marcus Hohmann, a veteran of McKinsey & Company, has joined OMMAX – hot on the heels of the firm significantly growing its footprint through an acquisition.
Appointed Partner, Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Chief Operating Officer (COO), Hohmann will lead finance and operations at OMMAX at group-level and across its local offices in Munich, Paris, London, Milan, Amsterdam, Hamburg, and Berlin. He will focus on driving operational excellence and advancing AI-enabled transformation across the organization.
Hohmann joins OMMAX with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning finance, operations, strategy, and large-scale transformation. Most recently, he served as CFO for McKinsey & Company in Europe, where he led finance and administrative functions, driving operational excellence and financial resilience.
He spent a total of 23 years at McKinsey, previously as a leader in its Germany and Austria business. He started his career as a consultant and was elected Partner in 2009, focusing on finance transformation, organizational and operational effectiveness, and enterprise-wide technology-driven transformation initiatives.
“Marcus brings an exceptional combination of strategic finance expertise, operational leadership, and transformation experience,” said Toni Stork, CEO and Founding Partner at OMMAX. “His track record in scaling complex international organizations and driving operational excellence perfectly aligns with OMMAX’s next growth chapter.”
“As we continue to scale our AI-first consulting model and expand our international footprint, Marcus will be instrumental in helping us build the next generation of AI-enabled value creation for our clients.”
OMMAX was founded in 2011 in Germany and is a consulting firm specializing in digital strategy and mergers & acquisitions. The firm recently acquired Singulier, a counterpart from France, lifting its headcount to 400 people.
