Strategy& appoints Gérald Duarte as partner in French business

Strategy& has strengthened its leadership team in France with the appointment of Gérald Duarte.

Duarte brings more than 25 years of experience to Strategy&, gained across both consulting and industry roles. He specialises in mergers & acquisitions, transaction services, post-merger integration and carve-outs, having led and supported the completion of dozens of transactions for corporate, private equity and venture capital clients throughout his career.

In addition, Duarte has led major transformation programmes across a range of industries, including manufacturing, financial services, healthcare and technology. His work has helped clients increase revenue and profitability, improve performance and enhance operational efficiency.

Appointed as a Partner at Strategy&, Duarte is a member of the Deals practice, where he will focus on deal advisory, due diligence and post-closing services, including integration and value creation.

Duarte joins Strategy& from Roland Berger, where he was a Senior Partner and led the firm’s Transaction Services team in France. Earlier in his career, he spent a decade at Accenture and close to a decade at KPMG and Arthur D. Little. He also gained industry experience at Medtronic, a global healthcare technology company, and L’Oréal, the international cosmetics group.
