Strategy& welcomes Gerald Ott to German partner team

Global strategy consulting firm Strategy& has welcomed a new partner in its German business: Gerald Ott.

A member of the Transport and Logistics practice, Gerald Ott advises private and public sector organisations across the entire value chain, with a particular focus on rail and public transport, the logistics sector, and critical infrastructure. His work covers strategic transformations, the redesign of business and operating models, and large-scale programmes aimed at improving operational excellence.

He brings nearly 20 years of experience in consulting and the technology sector to Strategy&. Ott most recently served Porsche Consulting, where he was a partner in its Rail & Public Transportation practice. Before that, he also worked at international consultancies Wavestone, Detecon and Q-Perior. In between, he served as Head of Strategy at IoT technology company Kontron.

Gerald Ott studied Business Administration at the University of Regensburg and International Business at the University of Alicante. He also completed executive education programmes at MIT Sloan and ESMT Berlin.
