Teneo appoints Jean-Charles Simon as Senior Advisor in Paris office
Global advisory firm Teneo has appointed Jean-Charles Simon as a Senior Advisor in the firm’s Paris office.
An economist, entrepreneur and widely recognised expert in financial markets, Jean-Charles brings more than 25 years of experience across public policy, corporate strategy, finance and capital markets.
Prior to joining Teneo, Jean-Charles served as Chief Executive Officer of Paris Europlace, where he worked with financial institutions, listed companies, investors, regulators and policymakers to strengthen Paris’s position as a leading global financial centre.
Previously, he was Executive Director of Optimind, one of France’s leading actuarial and financial consulting firms, where he contributed to the firm’s leveraged buyout and acquisition strategy ahead of its sale to Accenture in 2023. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at SCOR, Groupama and several other business organisations, advising on economic policy, corporate competitiveness, stakeholder engagement and corporate communications.
Alongside his corporate roles, Jean-Charles is the founder of Stacian, a French data science and economic analytics consultancy.
In his new role at Teneo, Jean-Charles will support the firm’s financial communications, capital markets and transactions advisory capabilities.
