Alvarez & Marsal adds Maureen O’Shea to European private equity practice
Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal has appointed Maureen O’Shea as a Managing Director in its Private Equity Performance Improvement practice.
Based in London, O’Shea will work across Europe as part of the firm’s Operations, Supply Chain & Procurement team. She brings nearly three decades of industry and consulting experience across supply chain, operations and transformation.
A chemical engineer by training, O’Shea spent 20 years in operational supply chain leadership roles, including 16 years at Procter & Gamble and four years at Merck, where she led local, regional and global programmes spanning supply chain strategy, logistics, operations management, cost and cash improvement, organisational design, lean transformation and digital enablement.
She subsequently moved into consulting, holding senior roles at EY and KPMG before joining Baringa in 2022, where she advised organisations on complex supply chain and operational transformations.
At Alvarez & Marsal, Maureen will advise private equity firms and portfolio company management teams on supply-chain and operational value creation, including network and logistics optimisation, cost and working-capital improvement, digital transformation, organisational effectiveness, planning optimisation and supply-chain resilience. She will also support clients in leveraging AI and advanced analytics to deliver operational and supply chain improvements.
