Forvis Mazars expands in France with addition of 250-person Groupe BBM
Forvis Mazars has strengthened its presence in France with the addition of professional services firm Groupe BBM, expanding its footprint in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Normandy regions.
The move brings 13 new partners and 250 employees into the Forvis Mazars business, taking its workforce in the country to more than 5,500 people across 45 offices.
Founded in 1973, Groupe BBM is one of France’s larger mid-sized accounting and advisory firms, with expertise spanning accounting, audit, consulting and tax. The firm generated more than €24 million in revenue in 2025 and has built a strong presence in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, with additional operations in Normandy.
The deal significantly expands Forvis Mazars’ operations in Grenoble, which becomes the firm’s third-largest office in France. It also extends the firm’s regional network into Caen, where Forvis Mazars has sought to establish a presence for several years.

The transaction continues a run of deals for Forvis Mazars in France. In 2025, the firm integrated Forez Conseil in Saint-Étienne in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, Solutec in Toulouse in Occitanie and Arrijuria in Bayonne in Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
