French digital consultancy Audensiel expands into Portugal with purchase of LCG

French digital transformation consultancy Audensiel has expanded into Portugal with the acquisition of LCG, a 250-person consulting business.

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Lisbon, LCG delivers end-to-end services across business consulting, data analytics, artificial intelligence and Gen AI, business intelligence, finance and accounting, cloud, and cybersecurity. The firm is a certified partner of numerous technology vendors, including Microsoft, AWS, SAP and Google Cloud.

Since its inception, LCG has delivered more than 400 projects across sectors in Portugal and abroad. Its clients include Vodafone, NOS, AXA, Ageas, Brisa, the Portuguese Football Federation and the Ministry of Health.

For Audensiel, the bolt-on acquisition continues its internationalization strategy and adds a presence in Portugal to its footprint. The company now employs more than 3,500 people across offices in France, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal, Canada and Mexico.

“This deal in Portugal is a fundamental next step in our development,” said Audensiel Founder and President Nicolas Pacault. “It enables us to offer a high-quality nearshore service to our clients while continuing to grow significantly in the local Portuguese market. LCG also shares our vision, our values and a strong growth culture.”

Backed by investment firms Sagard and Capza, Audensiel expects to reach revenues of €350 million in 2026.

At LCG, the business will continue to be led by its current leadership team. Pedro Rebelo, CEO of LCG, said: “This joining of forces opens new perspectives for our teams and our clients while preserving what constitutes LCG’s identity. The continuity of management will allow us to navigate this new phase, with the aim of offering an even broader technological spectrum to our local clients, as well as to large European companies.”

The transaction was advised by TH Global Capital on financial matters and law firms Gómez-Acebo & Pombo and Uría Menéndez on legal matters, while Eight Advisory provided financial due diligence.

Commenting on TH Global Capital’s support for LCG’s shareholders, Rebelo said: “I am deeply thankful to the TH Global Capital team for their unwavering support and expert guidance throughout this journey. Their deep expertise in the consulting and IT services sector, combined with their proactive engagement and extensive global investor reach, played a pivotal role.”
