In line with a multitude of other industries, with the rise of digital disruption causing transformation efforts to boom in recent years, consulting firms in the supply chain management industry geared toward operational change have become hot property in recent months. Earlier in the year, for example, Deloitte Consulting acquired Dutch SAP supply chain consultancy AEPEX to bolster its capacity in the sector, while Argon Consulting merged with Crimson & Co., with digital transformation consulting currently representing a $44 billion industry in its own right.
Barkawi Management Consultants is a global consulting company focused on supply chain management, supply chain technology and aftersales services. The buyout will enable Genpact to leverage on Barkawi Management Consultants' consulting expertise and supply chain technology services for creating global, holistic supply chain services supported by digital, domain, and data science expertise. Moreover, the consultancy firm's partnerships with leading supply chain technology providers and implementation expertise will strengthen Genpact's planning and control tower solutions.
