Netherlands-based Bold Capital Management has in recent weeks bolstered its senior ranks with four senior advisors, including two partners – Nico Dijkstra and Han van Kasteren – taking the size of the firm’s partnership to eleven.

Nico Dijkstra brings over 25 years of experience in transactions and corporate development to the management consulting and financial advisory firm. In addition to advising on acquisitions, divestments and mergers, Dijkstra has extensive experience with company distress cases, having provided restructuring services focused on capital structure, governance and operations. Prior to joining Bold Capital Management, he worked at Deutsche Bank in London, as Head of Corporate Finance at NIBC Bank and Partner at Deloitte.

Han van Kasteren has 18 years of experience as a management consultant – he previously served A.T. Kearney and Het Strategiekantoor, a local network-based management consultancy provider. Outside of the consulting industry, Van Kasteren worked for Boskalis, a dredging and heavy-lift company, and SAP, the globe’s second largest provider of ERP solutions. At Bold Capital Management, the Delft University and Rotterdam School of Management graduate will support clients on topics including new market entry, sales strategy, digitisation and business process redesign.Nico Dijkstra, Han van Kasteren, Jos Arnoldussen, Edwin Martherus

Expanding the firm’s network of associates – independent consultants which have affiliated themselves to the brand – are Jos Arnoldussen and Edwin Martherus. Both seniors have joined as Associate Partner and bring diverse experience to the consulting firm.

Jos Arnoldussen is an experienced interim CFO and finance transformation manager with a track record in business transformation, turnaround & restructuring and business process redesign. Over the past decade, he worked as an interim finance executive / manager, supporting corporates, midcap and smaller enterprises with finance strategy and execution. Previously he served Shell for eleven years, and his tenure saw him hold several senior finance management roles. After obtaining his Master’s degree, he started his career at KPMG.

Edwin Martherus is a transformation manager and experienced consultant with extensive experience in governance, risk & compliance, quality management and business resilience. Prior to taking on his current role, he worked for Dura Vermeer, professional services firms KPMG, Deloitte, Arthur Andersen and Aon, and for the Royal Dutch Navy. Experience gained throughout his 20+ year career has seen him work with corporates, midcap & smaller enterprises and semi-profit organisations.

Earlier this year, both Bain & Company (Kyle Weza) and Roland Berger (Casper Veenman and Erwin Douma) added new faces to their partner team in Amsterdam.
