German management consultancy Hahn Consultants has agreed a partnership with Kruger, a counterpart based in the Netherlands.

“We are delighted with the partnership,” said Ton Moonen, a partner at Kruger. The Dutchman has been with the Rotterdam-based consultancy since 2002, after serving several financial services institutions for a decade.

Founded in 1999, Hahn Consultants supports its clients with a range of management consulting and financial advisory services. Offerings span strategy, growth, restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, organisation & management, finance, human capital and operations. Alongside its traditional consulting business model, the German firm also provides interim executives and managers to its clients, with a focus on Chief Restructuring Officer and Senior Project Leader roles. Hahn Consultants has offices in Düsseldorf, Hannover and München.Hahn Consultants partners with Dutch consultancy Kruger“In Hahn Consulting, we have a partner which is comparable to Kruger in terms of culture and quality. With this collaboration in place, we will even better be able to help our clients find a suitable solution for their cross-border matters,” said Moonen.

Kruger was established in 1988. The privately-held consulting firm similarly focuses on the mid-market segment, and specialises in corporate recovery, restructuring and turnaround, as well as strategy, corporate finance and organisational transformation. Kruger also has an interim management practice.

The partnership comes at a time when cross-border collaboration is becoming increasingly important for consultancies to serve the interests of their internationalising client-base. While the largest consulting firms of the globe can tap into their local operations, boutique consultancies typically seek mutual partnerships to cover the key markets they serve.
