A survey of 4,500 business leaders in the Netherlands sheds light on which professional services companies in the country receive the most plaudits from their clients. Meet the Netherlands’ top 40 professional services firms.
The professional services industry is one of the most important sectors of the Netherlands. According to official statistics from the Dutch government, the country has approximately 350,000 professional services firms, accounting for around 15% of all companies in the country, illustrating the sheer size but also the variety of the industry. The value added of professional services runs in the tens of billions of euro’s, estimated by the government to represent just over 10% of the Netherlands’ gross domestic product.
Segments that fall within professional services include accounting and audit, engineering, architecture, advertising, financial advisory, management consulting, staffing and sourcing, legal services, recruitment and tax. Companies in these segments serve clients across all sectors in the private and public landscape, with competition for engagements fierce. In tapping the services of professional services, leaders, those who buy services, are continuously on the lookout for the best providers in the market – firms which provide the most value for money.
The survey by the Erasmus Centre for Business Innovation, commissioned by Dutch magazine Management Team, asked leaders to rate their experiences with professional services companies, on aspects such as quality of services, customer centricity, quality of execution and the extent to which a manager would recommend a company to peers (Net Promoter Score).
Having analysed the ranking of the top 500 companies with the best reputation, Consultancy.eu crafted a list of the Netherlands’ forty leading professional services firms. Firms are ranked in descending order based on their total score.
