SparkOptimus adds five professionals to its team
SparkOptimus, a Netherlands-based consulting firm that works across Western Europe, has in recent months expanded its team with five new professionals.
Astrid Furlan has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, having previously worked as CFO for digital marketing agency PublicisOne, formerly LBI, and now a subsidiary of French advertising giant Publicis. Prior to her eight years at PublicisOne, she held several finance and controlling roles at among others Blue Fox, Priority Telecom and Canon.
Commenting on her decision to join SparkOptimus, a consultancy specialised in digital strategy and transformation, she said, “The combination of working in an interesting field like digital technology, being close to the business and working with such an exceptional bunch of people is an absolute privilege.”
Also joining the Amsterdam-based office of SparkOptimus are Natalie Jones and Tyrtza Hogewoning. Fresh from university, they have both been appointed an Associate. The latter Associate holds an Master in Strategic Product Design from the Delft University of Technology, while Jones obtained a Master in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam.

Hogewoning added; “At SparkOptimus, I am able to combine my passion for strategic design and data, while helping clients stay relevant in this constantly changing world.”
Meanwhile, SparkOptimus has added two non-Dutch nationals as senior advisors. German-origin Fabian Kösters most recently served Klosterfrau Group, a mid-sized group of companies with a focus on consumer health, where he supported the Group CEO in developing and implementing the strategic agenda. Previously, he worked five years for the German arms of McKinsey & Company and Roland Berger, and four years for the regional sales company of Audi and Volkswagen in Dubai.
Belgian national Magali Deloof has been appointed an Associate Partner. She brings eight years of consulting experience to the firm, all gained at A.T. Kearney, where she started her career in 2012. At the US consulting firm, she mainly focused on strategy and transformation projects, serving clients across a large variety of different industries, such as energy, financial services and transportation. Magali has been living in Zurich for the past five years.
