Consultancy frankfurter gruppe joins Global PMI Partners
German consulting firm frankfurter gruppe has partnered with Global PMI Partners, a global network of experts specialised in post-merger integration.
Speaking of the partnership, frankfurter gruppe managing partner Christoph Rohloff said, “Global PMI Partners is a natural partner for us. They enable us to provide a seamless service to our clients during international mergers and complex cross-border deals.”
Founded in 1998, frankfurter gruppe is a privately-held consultancy led by a team of five partners – founding partner Kirsten Meynerts-Stiller and partners Andreas Amann, Andreas Peteranderl, Christoph Rohloff and Neil Hatton. The boutique consulting firm operates across a broad spectrum of leadership, organisational and operational topics, and works for clients across industries and sectors.
Clients frankfurter gruppe has worked for include automotive giants Daimler, Ford and Volkswagen, energy player RWE, financial services institutions Credit Suisse and Landesbank, manufacturers Bombardier and Villeroy & Boch, as well as a range of healthcare, logistics and technology players. The partnership with Global PMI Partners bolsters the firm’s post-merger integration proposition, which is one of the firm’s six major offerings. “We can now offer our German and European clients a global reach,” said Rohloff. Vice versa, the collaboration allows Global PMI Partners’ member firms to tap into the local expertise and network of frankfurter gruppe.
Elaborating on this, Andrew Scola, managing partner of Global PMI Partners said, “We are glad to now have a strong post-merger integration competence base in Germany and strive to develop more consulting opportunities in the DACH region [Germany, Austria and Switzerland]. ”
Thought leadership
Alongside delivering post-merger integration projects, frankfurter gruppe has over the years leveraged its expertise in the field to release a number of market leading thought leadership pieces. In 2015, Meynerts-Stiller and Rohloff teamed up to pen the book ‘Post-merger management’, and more recently, the firm published the book ‘Post-merger integration im Mittelstand’ (German for ‘Post-merger integration in mid-sized companies’).
In both books, frankfurter gruppe’s experts highlight the need to complement a well-structured hard approach to change with a people-based approach, and this mantra turned out to be one of the key factors that inspired the firm to join forces with like-minded Global PMI Partners. Rohloff: “We share common values and approaches, and a 100% dedication to customer success.”
