BDO has bolstered its Advisory partner team in Luxembourg with the hire of Edoardo Battista Ancora.

Italian-origin Ancora brings two decades of experience in corporate finance and financial advisory services to the global professional services firm. He joined BDO from mid-tier rival Mazars, where he briefly headed the firm’s Financial Advisory Services team in Luxembourg. Previously, he spent eleven years at EY – across two spells – and three years at Big Four peer Deloitte, also across two spells.

Most recently, Ancora was Head of Valuation & Business Modelling at EY in Luxembourg, in this capacity managing a team of ten international corporate finance professionals. At Deloitte, his most senior role was that of Senior Manager in the firm’s Corporate Finance team. Earlier in his career, he learned the trick of the trade at two small Milan-based financial consulting companies.Edoardo Battista Ancora joins BDO Advisory in LuxembourgAt BDO, Ancora will focus on a range of financial advisory services, including M&A consulting, business valuation, due diligence and capital raising, with a further focus on multinational and larger local companies, institutional investors and family offices.
