AlixPartners promotes Alessandro Missaglia and Marco Eccheli
Global management consulting firm AlixPartners has per the 1st of January promoted two of its Italian consultants – Alessandro Missaglia and Marco Eccheli – to Managing Director.
Marco Eccheli has been with the consulting firm for five years, having joined AlixPartners from rival Bain & Company in Italy, which he served for fifteen years, latterly as a Principal.
During his two decades in consulting, Eccheli has completed over 130 project assignments and 50+ customers, mainly in the fast moving consumer goods and retail industries. He specialises in growth strategy, commercial excellence, performance improvement and supply chain optimisation.
He also has a track record in the private equity industry, supporting investors with EBITDA enhancement programs, specifically in the food and beverage sector. Eccheli, who is based in AlixPartners’ Milan office and works in its Performance Improvement practice, holds a degree in business administration from Università Bocconi di Milano.
Meanwhile, fellow Italian national Alessandro Missaglia has similarly been appointed a Managing Director, he is based in the firm’s Dubai office. Missaglia has more than more than 18 years of business consulting and industry experience in business planning, strategic sourcing, supply chain improvement, operations turnaround and post-merger integration.
He joined the consultancy back in 2004 as an Associate, having previously worked in supply chain roles at Pirelli Cables (currently Prysmian). Over the past sixteen years, Missaglia climbed the ranks internally, gradually specialising in the sectors of automotive, industrial goods, aerospace and defence and oil & gas.
He relocated to the United Arab Emirates in 2013, and has since delivered projects across Middle East countries including the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. An industrial engineer by education, Missaglia holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management and a degree from Polytechnic of Milan.
AlixPartners’ Middle East division is led by Gabriel Chahine, who joined from Strategy& last year.
