BrazilAgium EPM launches operations in Germany and Austria
Consulting firm Agium EPM has set up shop in Germany and Austria, marking its first international offices.
With a track record of over 70 projects at 40 companies across ten European countries, Agium EPM is a specialist in enterprise performance management (EPM) design and implementation projects for Oracle Hyperion and OneStream software.
The Dutch consultancy has been delivering projects in the DACH region for a number of years, and in a bid to better serve its clients has now launched on the ground operations in Dusseldorf and Vienna. “Expanding our footprint into the DACH region is in line with our growth strategy,” said Pascal Walk, Managing Partner of Agium EPM.
The new operation is led by Tobias Jäger (Germany) and Thomas Reisinger (Austria). Both bring over 15 years of experience in enterprise performance management to the table, gained both in consulting and industry. Most recently, they served ifb group, a German IT consultancy focused on risk & compliance services to the financial services sector.
Their experience spans consultancy and implementation across the EPM landscape, from planning and data integration to consolidation and reporting. Both have a variety of software solution experience under their belt, including OneStream, Hyperion, Tagetik and SAP.
In their role at Agium EPM, Jäger and Reisinger will focus on OneStream solutions, leveraging the firm’s Diamond Partners status and 25-strong team of certified OneStream consultants to serve clients. They will initially focus on the OneStream Lease Accounting solution, which automates reporting under the new IFRS and ASC standards.
According to the duo, OneStream is ideally positioned to help companies simplify financial consolidation, planning, reporting, analytics and financial data quality, while supporting broader digital transformation efforts of the finance function. Jäger said of his experience with the solution so far; “OneStream is a great tool… it has the power to be the leader in the EPM market.”
Agium EPM’s push into the DACH region comes shortly after OneStream was recognised as a strong challenger to existing vendors in the BARC Score Financial Performance Management DACH report, underlining the solution’s capacity. “It is the perfect timing to enter the market,” said Jäger and Reisinger.
