German ERP giant SAP has elevated BearingPoint to Gold Partner status in its SAP PartnerEdge Program.

BearingPoint, a European management and technology consulting firm with European roots, is a long standing partner of SAP. The company serves as a consulting & implementation partner for SAP products and solutions, helping its clients from strategy to implementation, including project managing ERP implementations, the delivery of roll-outs, adapting solutions and overseeing upgrade strategies.

Since founding in 2009, BearingPoint has completed over 1,300 SAP projects for over 170 customers in 30+ countries. On the back of this track record in the field coupled with a high client satisfaction score, as well as its ability to deliver innovative SAP solutions, the consultancy has now joined an elite group of leaders in the Gold band – SAP’s highest partner level for its consulting & implementation cohorts.

Tobias Kirchner from SAP explained: “SAP PartnerEdge Gold Partners perform at a high level across their entire business and illustrate a strong commitment to delivering business value to our customers.”

“This is a clear sign of the success of BearingPoint's SAP practice and its competency working with SAP,” said a delighted Anton Weig, a Partner at BearingPoint and firm-wide leader of its SAP practice. “It means a lot to us because it shows customers how strong our SAP offering is.”

BearingPoint’s key focus is on SAP S/4HANA related technologies including SAP S/4 Digital Core, SAP C/4HANA suite, SAP Fiori, and IoT solutions built on the SAP Cloud Platform combined with BearingPoint industry-specific IP assets. “We support our clients in the move to SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform because it enables them to be a part of the future,” said Weig.

To promote its innovation endeavours in the SAP space, BearingPoint has a dedicated Center of Excellence (CoE) for SAP. Weig: “This is where we concentrate our European SAP development team to work closely with SAP, customers and partners, in order to deliver integrated solutions driven by SAP technology.”

A win-win partnership

Under the new Gold umbrella agreement, BearingPoint – and hence its client – will be able to benefit from a number of noteworthy benefits. These include the option for ramp-up participation, access to road map reviews, executive councils, and strategy sessions. The firm will also be provided a privileged position to be an early adaptor of innovative SAP product functionality.

BearingPoint’s SAP practice has nearly 1,300 consultants. Across its practice, the firm has nearly 5,000 consultants and staff working from offices in around 25 countries.

Beyond SAP, BearingPoint also has technology partnerships with Microsoft, Salesforce, Pega, Amazon, Anaplan, Celonis, Oracle, Mulesoft and UIPath.
